Titch also briefs the media, legislators, and legislative staffers on policy positions. He has testified before state legislators in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Utah. The Heartland Institute, Chicago, IL Titch serves as Senior Fellow for IT and Telecom Policy at The Heartland Institute, a think tank in Chicago. Titch also writes policy papers, consults on legislative initiatives and handles media interviews on current telecom and IT issues. Titch is managing editor of Information Technology & Telecom News, a monthly newspaper delivered to legislators and PUC commissioners in all 50 states. The State of Illinois Working under contract with the state's Bureau for Computer and Communications Services, Expert Editorial prepared two articles for external publication on the Illinois Century Network, a statewide high-speed telecom backbone linking educational, health care and government operations throughout Illinois. Access On behalf on Paradyne Networks and Virtual
Access, Expert Editorial created, programmed and moderated two-day DSL
Summit event in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, for the European business
and trade press. The summit brought together executive from both
companies, analysts from noted research firms such as Point Topic, and
Paradyne and Virtual Access customers in a series of presentations and
Q&A sessions designed to raise general awareness of the state of
DSL technology and market in Europe, as well as Paradyne’s and Virtual
Access’s business and technology strategies. GSM Suppliers Association
(GSA) Organized, created and presented the initial
program plan for the U.K.-based GSM Suppliers Association’s New
Ventures Program. The concept was designed to bring in smaller
entrepreneurial start-ups into the European trade group, with an eye
toward strengthening the value chain of hardware and software
manufacturers and wireless applications developers. The launch resulted
in the immediate registration of more than 20 members. The program now
has more than 60. Siemens AG Expert Editorial worked with Siemens Munich-based media
communication team to write and assemble a series of marketing
brochures for the companies line of integrated switching and
transmission equipment designed to bridge conventional circuit switched
