About Steven Titch

Steven Titch, president of Expert Editorial Inc., has 25 years of experience in the publishing industry. In addition, he is in demand for reporting, writing, editing, research and analysis, and speaking.

Areas of expertise include information technology, telecommunications and, in the past two years, the convergence of IT and physical security technologies.

IIn addition, between 2000 and 2003, Titch published his own Web site, TitchOnline.com, covering the telecommunications industry. At the same time, his work appeared in such publications as Information Week, Inter@activeWeek and Telephony magazine.

Titch also is the former Editorial Director of Telephony magazine and its international spin-off, Global Telephony. Titch planned and executed Telephony’s mid-90s turnaround and its 1996 redesign and relaunch. He also was founding editor of Global Telephony.

Titch launched Expert Editorial in 1999 as a free-lance business for publishers looking to outsource the creation of editorial content, from individual articles to multi-sponsored, multi-issue, custom publishing projects.

Titch is personally involved in the management of each project, supported by his partner, Sharon J. Watson. When necessary, he can call on an extensive network of free-lance journalists, copy editors and designers.

Titch’s experience as a telecommunications industry journalist goes back to 1980, when he started his career as Associate Editor-Communications at Electronic News. He was founding editor of Cellular Business (now Wireless Review), which in 1984 was the first business-to-business publication serving the nascent wireless industry, and Midwest Bureau Chief for Communications Week (now Internet Week).

Titch’s other free-lance work has appeared in the International Herald Tribune, New York Times Magazine, Crain’s New York Business and International Telecommunication Union Commemorative Publications

Titch holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and English from Syracuse University. He lives in Sugar Land, Texas. A distance runner, he completed the 2000 Chicago Marathon in 3:51:55.
